Crown Point Press began in 1962 as a print workshop and started publishing prints in 1965 with etching portfolios by Richard Diebenkorn and Wayne Thiebaud. Since then over 100 artists have worked in our etching studio, including Tomma Abts, Darren Almond, Mamma Andersson, Leonardo Drew, Marcel Dzama, Mary Heilmann, Sol LeWitt, Tom Marioni, Julie Mehretu, Jockum Nordstrom, Laura Owens, Pat Steir, Fred Wilson, and John Zurier. In 2012 Crown Point celebrated its 50th anniversary, and in 2013 the National Gallery of Art exhibited 'Yes, No, Maybe: Artists Working at Crown Point Press', which featured 125 working proofs alongside final prints...
